Got a robo call claiming I owe money, kept giving out various numbers for the debt, said it wasn’t a sales pitch or anything. I honestly don’t owe a thing to anyone, so I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.

I keep getting calls from this number quite frequently.

Why on earth are they ringing me? You won’t believe it! I had a bit of fun with them by claiming my name was Liqma-spelling it L-I-Q-M-A instead of the usual Ligma. Honestly, they didn't see it coming and I absolutely had a laugh at their expense!

I've received a rather suspicious message urging me to ring a certain number, 0113....., and mention a reference number. I've promptly blocked and erased it from my phone.

I received a call from IMFS, and they're requesting me to ring back at 01133508520.

Today, I got a rather unexpected call from this number. It was a pre-recorded message from a firm calling itself IMFS. I've done a bit of digging into them, and if they truly are a debt collection agency as suggested, they should really be reaching out directly rather than through a recording. I have zero debts hanging over my head. I can't help but think this kind of call could really unsettle someone who might be more susceptible. We need to put an end to these practices!

It seems they've altered their contact number to 01133508520 and requested that I give them a call back! I’d suggest just giving it a miss.

Scammers, without a doubt. They don’t bother to explain the reason behind their call; instead, you receive a cryptic message urging you to ring them back and provide a reference number. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

They seem to be associated with the number 01133508520. It's rather disgraceful, isn't it? I'd advise against returning their call; best to simply block the number altogether.

I got a call yesterday that seemed to be from something called IMFS. It was just a recorded message and frankly, it sounded like utter nonsense. I haven’t the foggiest what they wanted, but I’ve no intention of ringing them back. From what I can gather, it's likely just another dodgy scam.

These people use all sorts of different phone numbers and keep telling you about debts you've never heard of - debts that don’t even exist. It's a total scam. Whoever said that number on 25/01/18 was safe clearly needs to visit Specsavers. When I phoned them, they didn’t even know who I was or any details about me. It’s a con. IMFS show an 0800 number on their website, and since they're regulated by the FCA, I'd expect they'd send a proper letter instead of calls like this. Maybe IMFS could step in or do something to help get these scammers stopped.

Got loads of calls, so I blocked one number but then they just rang from a different one, same company though. Quite annoying!

Got this funny call from imfs claiming it wasn't a sales pitch - something about them being from a Leeds firm. Quite a strange one!

I’ve received several requests for payment from them, even though the TRS company in the States claims my account is settled and there’s nothing owed. I took the liberty of reviewing my credit score on the Martin Lewis site, and I found no indication of any outstanding debts. It seems like they’re just attempting to pull a fast one.

Today, I received a rather alarming phone call and multiple emails claiming that I owe them money for some cream I supposedly ordered. I've attempted to cancel this order, but I've hit a brick wall trying to reach the company. None of the phone numbers or the email address they gave me seem to work. I’m starting to feel quite anxious that they might escalate this and come after me for even more cash.

I got this email claiming I owe £16 to eBay, but when I logged into my actual eBay account, there was no sign of any money owed. Plus, the website they linked to looked really dodgy and not like eBay at all. Seems like a bit of a scam to me.

some people calling from imfs got in touch with me about a debt i wasn’t aware of, but they were really good about it. they explained everything clearly and sorted me out with a fair payment plan that didn’t have any hidden charges. honestly, the staff were super helpful and seemed legit.

I've received a couple of emails and a text message asserting that I owe £139 for a product that I've never even received. Quite worryingly, I've had to cancel my cards because of this. I decided to give them a call today, and when they asked who they were speaking to, I provided my name. However, when they requested my address, I chose not to divulge it, so the conversation ended there. Just a heads up, it's best to refrain from giving out your address to anyone who calls you!

I've had a similar experience myself. I received a trial product and attempted to halt the process but was unsuccessful. I ended up sending the cream back along with a written note, as I couldn't manage to either cancel online or via email. Shockingly, they withdrew £118.16 from my account, despite the fact that I never actually received the cream. Now they’re chasing me for another £149.94! As a retiree, this has been incredibly distressing, and I’ve struggled to get any decent sleep recently. I even tried reaching out to customer service, but it was a complete washout-nobody answered. It's utterly ridiculous!

I recently placed an order for a trial product from the US, and lo and behold, I ended up facing an import charge of around £69. I promptly informed the seller that I wouldn't be accepting the delivery. Subsequently, I received a text from a company called IMFS demanding payment. I firmly believe I owe them nothing, so I blocked that number without a second thought. To my dismay, I received another call from IMFS, insisting I have an outstanding balance of over £300. This whole thing reeks of a scam and surely needs to be addressed.

I recently received an email from a company called IMFS urging me to get in touch with them immediately, as they claimed I owe TRS Ltd £347 for an online order. To say it’s alarming would be an understatement! They barely left me alone, having already taken over £100 from my bank account without my consent since the bank just assumed I had signed up for a subscription. The only thing I received was a sample-a nondescript jar full of an unidentifiable substance, lacking any labels or details, which I promptly threw away. Now, because I’ve changed my bank details, they can’t access my funds anymore. It’s outrageous that these companies can get away with such blatant scamming from across the pond. I urge anyone reading this to think twice before ordering samples from overseas. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle!

I've received an email from this number stating the following: "Dear Anne, Reference Number 897279 Client: TRS Ltd Client Reference: ... Outstanding Amount: £373.30. This charge stems from a sample request for which I paid the postage. Apparently, I've unwittingly subscribed to their service. It's rather concerning, as this marks the second time this year I’ve been deducted funds-the last time over £100. The bank insists I’m responsible because they claim to possess proof of my subscription, but I’ve actually received nothing except for a jar that was unlabeled and contained an unknown substance, which I eventually discarded. I'm seriously hoping that someone in a position of authority can intervene and help stop these scammers from infiltrating our country. Could someone please take action? It's becoming beyond distressing."

So, this firm called IMFS from Leeds has been ringing me a couple of times, but I just didn’t pick up. They did leave a couple voicemails, but didn’t say much besides asking me to call back urgently. Today an email popped up demanding payment for some debts. I tried looking up their Financial Conduct Authority number 754982, but it doesn’t seem legit at all. Their website [#litms(s###I###] looks pretty sketchy too, like they’re just after my money. Honestly, this lot ought to be reported to the financial watchdog.

I received a message from this number, containing a reference number, stating they were representing IMFS and insisting that I get in touch with them. I've got no idea who these folks are. However, I did recently receive a notification from Customs demanding £65. It’s true, I occasionally buy things from the States, but I can't fathom that much in import duties. I decided to disregard it.

I've been receiving emails and letters from IMFS.co.com (not sure about the name, could be dodgy) urging me to pay them around £140 for what they claim was a free trial of some American product. Honestly, this looks like a scam to me. Best to just disregard it completely.

I received a rather suspicious call today from this number, purporting to be from IMSS, claiming that I owed £179.98 for a bill of £111.98 from way back in October 2016. To be quite honest, I had no inkling about such a hefty expense. Sure, I did make a purchase from an American retailer last year, but I certainly didn’t shell out £111.98 for anything! Upon realising this seemed fishy, I reached out to my credit card provider, who suggested I look up the name and number online. That’s how I ended up here. The woman on the phone seemed quite adept at her job, and I didn't twig until our chat was over that I had unwittingly confirmed my address for ‘security purposes’. That did set off alarm bells, as it occurred to me that she likely wouldn’t have had my address beforehand-now that company’s got my name and where I live.

I was taken aback when I got an email instructing me to ring this number, claiming that I owe £279.04 to their clients, TRS Ltd, for an online order referenced as 6476952. I've been receiving some rather pushy emails insisting that I owe them money, claiming they’re representing their clients. The emails are quite lengthy and include a reference number. They also instruct me to call 01133509910. To top it off, they provide bank details, stating I can transfer the money to account number 86075519 with sort code 557023. Additionally, there's another contact number, 0808 808 4000, they keep throwing around. Quite concerning, isn’t it?
