Got a robo call claiming I owe money, kept giving out various numbers for the debt, said it wasn’t a sales pitch or anything. I honestly don’t owe a thing to anyone, so I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.

I get calls from this number quite a bit.

So this number kept ringing me and I had a bit of fun with them. Told them my name was Liqma, like L-i-q-m-a, not the other way around. They totally fell for it and got proper trolled! Why are these lot even calling me anyway?

I got a voicemail telling me to ring 0113.... and mention a reference number. I’ve just gone ahead and blocked the number and got rid of the message.

On Wednesday 13th March, I got a call and they left a reference number, asking me to ring them back. When I did, they said they were from a Finance Company but didn’t mention anything about debt collecting. They wanted my name before saying anything, so I only gave my first name. It turned out I wasn’t the person they needed to speak to. They told me they’d remove my phone number from their system, but when I asked them to delete my mobile too, they claimed they didn’t have it. Odd, considering they rang me there first before trying my landline. I don’t owe them or anyone else money. I’ve now reported their number on my landline to block them. They seemed polite but wouldn’t be clear about who they really were or what they wanted, even though they expected me to ring back. I’ll just ignore calls like this from now on.

Got a random call earlier from this number, some automated voice saying it was IMFS. I looked them up and if they're really a debt collector like they say, they’d reach out in person or something more official. I don't owe anything though. I can see how this might freak out folks who might trust such calls too quickly. Honestly, these calls need to be shut down!

Seems like they've switched up their phone number to 01133508520. They actually told me to call them back! Best to just ignore it.

Scammers, that's what they are. They never tell you why they're calling, just leave a message asking you to phone back and give some reference number. Honestly, it's dodgy as hell.

I've had calls from 01133508520 as well. Honestly, they're pretty dodgy, so I recommend just blocking them instead of picking up or calling back. Total waste of time.

Got a phone call from some place called IMFS with a recorded message, seemed dodgy to me. Didn't really catch what it was for and figured it was just another scam, so I didn’t bother calling back. Total waste of time if you ask me.

These people use all sorts of different phone numbers and keep telling you about debts you've never heard of - debts that don’t even exist. It's a total scam. Whoever said that number on 25/01/18 was safe clearly needs to visit Specsavers. When I phoned them, they didn’t even know who I was or any details about me. It’s a con. IMFS show an 0800 number on their website, and since they're regulated by the FCA, I'd expect they'd send a proper letter instead of calls like this. Maybe IMFS could step in or do something to help get these scammers stopped.

So these lot keep ringing, asking for cash even though the company they say they’re chasing, some TRS folks in the States, confirmed my account’s shut and there’s nothing owing. I looked up my credit report via that Martin Lewis site and there’s no sign of any debt at all. Totally looks like they’re having a laugh.

Today I got a call along with loads of emails telling me I owe cash for some cream I supposedly ordered. Tried to get in touch to cancel but couldn't reach anyone on the phone numbers or emails they gave. Feeling anxious now that they might keep chasing me for more money.

I got this email claiming I owe £16 to eBay, but when I logged into my actual eBay account, there was no sign of any money owed. Plus, the website they linked to looked really dodgy and not like eBay at all. Seems like a bit of a scam to me.

some people calling from imfs got in touch with me about a debt i wasn’t aware of, but they were really good about it. they explained everything clearly and sorted me out with a fair payment plan that didn’t have any hidden charges. honestly, the staff were super helpful and seemed legit.

I’ve got emails and texts saying I owe £139 for something I never got. Because of this, I cancelled my cards straight away. I called them up today and they asked who was speaking, so I told them my name. Then they wanted my address, but I refused to give it, so they couldn’t continue the call. Seriously, don’t give your address to anyone who calls like this.

I received a sample as well and tried to cancel but couldn't manage it. I sent back the cream along with a letter. There was no option to cancel online or email them. They still withdrew £118.16 from my bank, even though I never actually received the product. Now they want an extra £149.94. I'm a pensioner and this is really stressing me out - I haven’t slept properly for days. I tried ringing their customer service but couldn’t get through to anyone. Honestly, it’s ridiculous.

I once ordered a sample item from America, but when it arrived, the import tax was nearly £70. I contacted them straight away to refuse the delivery. Later, I got a message from IMFS claiming I owed money, which I definitely didn't. I blocked their number. Just now, that same IMFS number rang me again, leaving a voicemail insisting I owe over £300. This feels like a total con and needs to be dealt with.

I recently received an email from a company called IMFS urging me to get in touch with them immediately, as they claimed I owe TRS Ltd £347 for an online order. To say it’s alarming would be an understatement! They barely left me alone, having already taken over £100 from my bank account without my consent since the bank just assumed I had signed up for a subscription. The only thing I received was a sample-a nondescript jar full of an unidentifiable substance, lacking any labels or details, which I promptly threw away. Now, because I’ve changed my bank details, they can’t access my funds anymore. It’s outrageous that these companies can get away with such blatant scamming from across the pond. I urge anyone reading this to think twice before ordering samples from overseas. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle!

I got an email from this number saying...
Dear Anne,
Reference Number 897279
Client TRS Ltd
Client Ref...
They claim I owe £373.30 just because I ordered a sample and paid postage, then apparently signed up for a subscription. Earlier this year, they already took over £100 from me. My bank said I had to pay as they had proof of the subscription I supposedly agreed to. I never got anything except a jar with no label or info, which I chucked because it had some weird stuff inside. Seriously, does anyone have the power to step in and stop these US scammers from targeting people here? It’s getting ridiculous. Somebody please help!

So, this firm called IMFS from Leeds has been ringing me a couple of times, but I just didn’t pick up. They did leave a couple voicemails, but didn’t say much besides asking me to call back urgently. Today an email popped up demanding payment for some debts. I tried looking up their Financial Conduct Authority number 754982, but it doesn’t seem legit at all. Their website [#litms(s###I###] looks pretty sketchy too, like they’re just after my money. Honestly, this lot ought to be reported to the financial watchdog.

Apparently IMFS work with a foreign supplement company that offers a free trial, but you have to cover the postage and agree to a recurring order contract, which you must cancel within their rules. They keep charging you even though they don’t send the product, and when you try to stop payments on your card, they come after you for extra fees. Even if you cancel properly through their site, they claim you never did because you didn’t get an email confirmation, which they say should have been sent. Problem is, there’s no way to prove you cancelled unless you took a screenshot, which most people don’t bother doing. When I cancelled, I didn’t get any confirmation email, and now they say I owe their client a bigger amount for stuff I never received, plus extra charges for cancelling payments on my bank card!

So, I got a message from these guys with a ref number saying they’re working for IMFS and that I absolutely have to get in touch with them. I’ve no idea who they are. I did get a customs notification about paying £65, but I do order stuff from the US and that duty fee seems way off for what I bought. I just decided to ignore the whole thing.

Today I got a call from this number, and the person said they were from IMSS and that I owed £179.98 for a bill from October 2016 of £111.98, which I had no idea about - seemed like a massive charge.
Last year, I did buy something from a US company, but there’s no way I paid £111.98 for it.
I called my credit card company and they told me to search the name and the number online, which led me here.
The woman I spoke to was pretty sharp. It only hit me after the call that she had asked me to confirm my address for "security reasons"... now I’m thinking she probably didn’t have my address before, so they’ve got both my name and address now, which isn’t great.

I got this email from them, real pushy, saying I owe a sum and they’re representing their clients. The message was pretty lengthy, included some reference numbers, and told me to call 01133509910. They also provided bank details to pay - sort code 557023 and account number 86075519. Plus, they mentioned another number to call, 0808 808 4000. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
