This number called me twice just the other day. I told whoever it was that they’d got the wrong number and then ended the call. Honestly, I couldn't catch much of what they were saying, which made me just hang up. After reading some of the comments here, I’ll be blocking it for sure.

Some bloke said he was from the Wyndum group and that they were sorting out tax refunds from HMRC for working from home. He then asked for my dob but I wasn’t having it and questioned him. After that, he just ended the call. Sounded proper British too.

Someone called claiming to be from Wyndham group, saying I’d asked about qualifying for a tax refund. I never made any such enquiry and told them it wasn’t relevant to me, then they just ended the call. Pretty sure it was an unsolicited call and I'd bet they’re scammers 99% of the time.

Whenever I pick up, I usually say “Good afternoon, spam checker, how can I help?” and they just end the call straight away. After that, I block the number. I’ve got more than 260 numbers on my blocked list by now!

Got a call about some marriage tax refund thing. I’m sure I didn’t click on any Facebook ad or hand over my phone number. When I told them I’d already claimed my wife’s tax allowance, they quickly switched to some mumbo jumbo about "Plebian" or whatever it was. I just told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Even after blocking the number, it keeps ringing nonstop. No one ever leaves a voicemail, but the call just stays connected for like five minutes. I’ve never actually gotten a person on the line, just some static sound in the background.
