Said they were from some ''insurance firm'' but wouldn’t say which one, said it was about an accident I supposedly had recently. Totally a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got the same number popping up again, blocked it about 20 times already. I just tell them I’m a sergeant at the local police station, usually shuts them up dead quick and they hang on fast. There’s so many of these calls now, I do it every time I answer the phone. Even my family have started doing it. They’re bloody annoying and I really hate these calls. Telecom companies don’t seem bothered about stopping them - but why would they, when they’re making cash from rental lines and call charges?

Got a call from some guy with a strong Indian accent, said he was from 'The Phone Company'. When I asked what he wanted, he just repeated 'from phone company'. I told him we got that, so what’s the reason for calling? Then he just hung up!

Picked up the phone and all I heard was a rude “Bugger Off” from the person calling. I guess their boss in charge of the scam will sort it out behind the scenes. Surely they don’t want their agent insulting the person they're trying to con.

Got a call saying they were from O2 with some offer. When I asked them to verify my info, they just ended the call immediately.

Got a call from an Indian woman claiming to be from UK Mobile. She asked what phone I had, which network I’m with, and how much my bill is. I gave fake info and she said they could give me the same deal for less. When I asked how that’s possible if they don’t even know my actual plan, she just hung up.

Got a call from some lot claiming to be from 'Currys PC World' with mobile phone deals. If you fancy winding them up a bit, when they ask about your current phone, just say 'your mum’s'. Properly annoyed the bloke on the other end in no time. Last I heard, he was threatening to file a complaint or something. Made my day! :)

I've received three calls from this number. The voice on the other end seemed to originate from India. Apparently, they claimed to be with a firm named UK Trust Loan. They've mentioned that my information had been shared with them, and it turns out they're an unsecured loan provider. To secure the loan, they insisted I needed to fork out money for insurance first. It’s absolutely absurd; typically, when you apply for a loan, it’s the other way around - they should be disbursing funds to you, not the other way around. Having fallen victim to a scam in the past, I’m adamant it won’t happen again. So, I urge everyone to remain vigilant against these deceitful fraudsters. Cheers!
