I got a message from the number +44 7513 538377 with a code supposedly to verify a NatWest payee. It told me to ring 01133100141 straight away if I hadn’t requested it. I don’t even hold an account with NatWest. The word “straight away” felt deliberately designed to make you panic and react without thinking.
