The moment I answered the call, the person on the other end just terminated the call without uttering a word. It was all very abrupt and rather puzzling.

Received a call earlier today from some folks saying they deal with debt assistance.

Had a ring today from a different number about some debt help schemes. The voice sounded Indian or Asian and there was this weird pause before they spoke, like they were using some kind of call routing to make it seem like it was from the UK. This time it was supposedly Leeds, but I've also had calls from Bristol with the exact same lies and pushiness. Honestly, just ignore them and never share any details. These calls should definitely be reported and shut down.

I got a call from a guy with a strong Asian accent who kept saying he could "clear my debt". The annoying part was, he already had my full name and address. It really winds me up because I’m super careful about sharing my details, especially with all the data leaks going around these days.

I reckon it was a scam call - the person said they were from HMRC and that I was facing legal charges.

Got a call saying it was from HMRC about some tax refund I could get. They sent a link to click on and claim it. The thing is, I don’t even pay tax! Definitely a scam, so watch out everyone.
