I tried calling 191, which is Vodafone's number, after this guy from Vodafone Stoke contacted me through web chat. He told me that someone was trying to get info off my account. Apparently, the scammers were attempting to add an extra phone line, but because they didn’t have the correct details, the Vodafone man rang me to check if I was the one chatting online with him - I wasn’t. Just a heads up, don’t hand out any numbers easily like I didn’t. These scammers are faking their number to look like they’re from Vodafone.

Got a call from Vodafone, some lady speaking with a really strong Indian accent. She wanted to talk to my partner, since his name’s on both of our phone accounts. Absolutely, it’s Vodafone that's been ringing me incessantly! I had my contract and PAC request cancelled, and since then, the phone calls haven’t stopped. I’m seriously considering lodging a complaint with Ofcom if this doesn’t let up. On top of that, they’ve really dropped the ball by not providing our PAC code within the promised 48-hour timeframe!
