This caller has been ringing me two times daily. When I finally picked up, a man uttered my name and mentioned he’d be in touch again. I can't fathom the purpose of this nonsense; it's infuriating! I'm utterly annoyed with the incessant calls I'm getting from this number on my Three mobile. It feels like I'm hearing from them nearly every day, sometimes even twice! Like a lot of others have said, we picked up our landline by mistake and the person was really pushy about adding more channels or another mobile contract. If it wasn’t for us, what about our kids or even the neighbours? They kept asking if anyone needed a new phone line that we might cover. I ended up throwing a few swear words in there and have been doing that every time they ring. Best just block the number and get in touch with Virgin yourself to complain properly on your landline.

Got calls from Virgin Media, but actually from some marketing firm they hire. They had all my phone info, even how much pay-as-you-go credit I have! Tried to get me to set up a direct debit. Told them no thanks, but they keep ringing me twice a day just to push it!! I’ve phoned Virgin Media 3 times about this and every time they promise to take me off their call list. The calls stop for a bit, maybe 2 weeks, then bang, back again full force. Like others said, they leave these silent voicemail messages, which drives me mad. Once my credit runs out, I’m done with Virgin for good.

They said they were Virgin Media, but from the sound of it, the caller was Filipino like other people have mentioned. They rang my mobile twice but I ignored it. Then they got my wife on our landline, so I had a go at her because we actually do have Virgin Media and have had some problems. She kept insisting it wasn’t related and was trying to sell an extra box for better phone signal in weak areas. Not sure she was really from Virgin with how rude she was, nowhere near how their usual support sounds (and I’ve had a fair few issues with them myself).

008001836412 called my phone. I noticed straight away it wasn’t a UK number. The lady spoke with a Filipino accent, claiming to be from Virgin Media. She asked for my husband and seemed reluctant to talk to me, saying she’d call back. I told her I didn't want any more calls. She was a bit rude about it. I called Virgin Media myself and they said it’s likely a marketing call from an offshore number, probably the Philippines or somewhere similar. They’ve now removed me from their marketing list so I shouldn’t get any more calls like this.
