After the third time, the 00800 code looked dodgy, so I blocked it. But then it called again today, so I’m not sure if I somehow didn’t save the block properly or if they’ve got a way around it! I picked up the phone twice from this lot, and both times they insisted they were from Virgin Media. Oddly enough, they didn’t have my address but could tell me how much I’m forking out each month and the details of my plan. When I pointed out that it’s quite easy for anyone to dig up that info, the chap quite distinctly mentioned there was an issue with the line and that they'd ring me back. Then, like a magician, he hung up! Sure enough, they tried reaching me again the following day, but I was unable to answer. I’m tempted to give them a cheeky tune next time, perhaps a good loud whistle - that ought to give them a jolt!

Got a call saying it was Virgin Media with some discount on my contract. Sounded dodgy right away. When I said I'd double check by ringing Virgin's official number, they told me customer service wouldn’t know about the deal cos it’s a "separate team". Called their bluff and the calls stopped for a bit, but now they’ve started pestering me again, sometimes even as late as half past eight in the evening. Best to block the number if you can and don’t share any personal info with them.

Someone said they were from Virgin Media with some new deals for me. They actually knew my name and details about my internet account. When they asked for my address, I said I couldn't talk right now but they kept pushing to carry on the call, so I just hung up!

I keep gettin calls from this number about 4 times daily. I cant answer coz of work and when I try call back it says the number is not valid. Seems like a scam to me.

Somebody rang me pretending to be from Virgin Media, but when I questioned them, they just started swearing. I said I’d report their number and the call recording to the cops, and they just told me to f*** off.

This number has been ringing me almost every day this week. Took the call last night and all I could hear was heavy breathing. Now I’m just choosing to not answer it anymore. If you’re getting calls from this number, I’d suggest you do the same and just block it.

Really believable, she even got annoyed at me for not "confirming" my address right away like "all Virgin Media customers" supposedly do. Wouldn't confirm her identity in any way tho. Said she worked for Virgin, then changed it to saying she's "acting on behalf of" Virgin Media. Seems quite dodgy to me - had a Central European accent. I asked her to email me since she had my info, but she flat out refused.

My old neighbour has been getting hounded nonstop by someone who somehow got hold of his Virgin Media info. They keep ringing him up pushing some new "offer" but want his bank details. Don’t give out any info and make sure you report it straight away.

For more than a week now, the number 0800183649 keeps ringing me up loads of times daily, like seven missed calls each day. Whenever I check the voicemails, there’s just silence. It’s starting to get on my nerves big time. The worst part is they call at ridiculous hours, like super early in the morning or late at night, which honestly feels a bit like harassment. Totally fed up with this constant disturbance!

Honestly, it's the worst scam caller I've dealt with so far. Others have stopped pestering me, but this one’s pushed past 50 calls and shows no sign of stopping ??

This number keeps ringing me on my phone all through the day at the weirdest hours. Just recently, they called me eleven times within ten days! I’d have thought after I stopped picking up the calls, they’d take a hint, but nope - had to block the number in the end. Don’t have the foggiest who they are, and I’m steering clear. If I was ever interested in buying anything, I’d go for it on my own terms, not because someone’s pestering me nonstop.

They keep ringing me up like twice every day, it’s really distracting me while I’m working. I’ve just put the phone on silent now. If I’m interested in chatting with Virgin about an upgrade, I’ll ring them myself. Best just to ignore these calls.

I've been receiving infuriating calls nearly every day, and they never bother to leave a message. It's rather peculiar, really-just silence on the line. In response, I decided to install a call blocker app to shut down this number for good. It’s been a right nuisance! Surely, this has to be some kind of scam? They’ve been harassing me for a whole month now! Whatever you do, don’t share any personal information with them!

It was a call from Virgin, they were trying to convince me to switch my plan to some other deal. They've been ringing me in the evenings quite a bit lately.
