Got a call from an Asian lady saying she was from cybersecurity, said there was some problem with my internet, sounded like a scam to me.

I got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming my internet was being shared by like five other users. She said she was from the cyber security team and asked how many lights were showing on my router. When I asked where exactly she was calling from, she said BT. I told her I'm not with BT and the moment I said that, she sounded really irritated and just went straight into another question. So I just ended the call.

They tried to pretend they were ringing from BT, my broadband company. As soon as I told them they weren’t from BT and that it was a scam, they just hung up straight away!!

The landline rang and when I picked up, it was silent on the other end.

I just got a call about home security stuff, sounded totally like a scam to me. They were asking loads of questions about my place and personal safety, which made me really suspicious. Definitely one of those dodgy calls trying to trick you or sell you something fake. Watch out, folks!
