Loads of dodgy calls from number 0033973213466, where they pretend to be from my bank but never say which one. They tell me someone’s trying to take £300 from Amazon and another £1000 from somewhere else out of my account. They ask me to press 1 for info or 2 to pay. I've had quite a few scam calls from this number and others like it, all beginning with 00339. Really annoying!

Today, I received a call from the number 003939028859171. I chose not to pick it up, but they called repeatedly, forcing me to eventually cut the line. They've also left a message, but frankly, I've got no desire to listen to it.

Got a call from 003934819031 claiming to be Amazon, said my account was compromised and that someone ordered an Iphone 11 worth over £800. It was a recorded message, then they just cut off. Suspicious for sure.

This number called me three times. I answered once, and a guy called 'John' with a strong Asian accent and pretty bad English started talking. He said he was from B.T. Since I've dealt with scams by other Asian groups before, I kept pressing him, asking repeatedly where he was calling from. When I told him he didn’t sound like a genuine 'John' and mentioned I don't have internet, he just hung up.

Got about half a dozen calls from this number all in a row. Luckily, we’ve got one of those new BT call blocking phones and it’s been a lifesaver cause none of the calls came through. After looking up the number here, I decided to block it - the start was 003939.

This number keeps calling me but when I pick up, it's dead silent and then a woman says goodbye - it's happened loads of times over the past few days. I'm really annoyed by it, especially as I'm disabled and it takes me a while to get to the phone, but I need it in case of emergencies! Honestly, I'd love to tell whoever it is to bugger off! So frustrating!

I picked up the phone for a blind woman I help. When I said I was answering for her, there was silence, no one replied. Then the line just went dead. I dialled 0471 and the reply was 003939. Honestly, it’d be great if OFCOM could step in and put an end to these annoying and suspicious calls.

This morning, I received a rather peculiar call from the number 003939. There was an awkward silence right off the bat, and then a gentleman with a South Asian accent introduced himself as being from BT. He insisted he was ringing to resolve some alleged internet issues I was experiencing. Strangely enough, he asked me to power up my computer on the spot. The connection was dreadful the entire time, making it rather difficult to follow what he was saying. I mentioned that my computer was out of commission-quite true, as it happens-and he promptly disconnected the call. It’s obvious this was a dodgy scam attempt.

Some bloke rang saying his name was Claire and claimed to be from BT. I told him I’m not a BT customer. He started going on about BT being the main internet supplier and that I should be aware of that! Then he threatened to cut off my internet for a week in two hours. I told him to find someone else to bother and hung up. Loads of people have reported this number - why hasn’t it been blocked yet? It’s obvious dodgy behaviour!

I received a call this morning from the number mentioned. The caller had an Indian accent and insisted that there was an urgent issue with my computer; apparently, my internet had been compromised and my passwords and account details were at risk. I told him I’d contact BT directly and ended the call. Shortly after, he tried to ring me again, but I let my voicemail handle it this time. He didn’t bother leaving any message.

Got a scam call trying to mess with my computer. A mate of mine got hacked after thinking it was BT calling. Just so you know, BT dont call you out of the blue. I had 3 calls today, two were silent when I answered. The third was a woman with a West Indian accent claiming she was from BT and needed to talk about issues with my PC. Got a call from a bloke who said his name was Michael, but when I asked for his last name he said Yohan. Claimed he worked for BT’s Network Technical Department and gave some ID number D650120. He told me there was a problem with my YouTube and my computer might be hacked, so he needed access to fix it. If it was really BT, they’d confirm who they are properly. The line was awful and his accent very thick. When I asked him to spell his surname, he just said, “You’ve been to school, you can spell it yourself.” Very dodgy if you ask me.

A bloke called Michael, or maybe Ali, rang me claiming he was from BT and said my internet was about to be cut off. I told him nicely to piss off and never call back. I get round three calls a day - some just hang up after saying goodbye, others start with fake English names but you can tell they barely speak the language and sound pretty Asian. What really winds me up is how these useless scammers keep going despite loads of complaints. BT should take some of the blame for letting this happen.
