14/11/24 Got another call from one of those lot saying my PC is damaged or whatever. This bloke went off on me when I told him to send me something in writing about the problems he was banging on about. He snapped back, saying we’re living in the tech age now and letters are old news. He was proper rude and talked down to me the whole time.

I get calls from these lot almost every day, usually once a day. They claim to be from Talktalk’s tech team, saying there’s a problem with my internet they need to sort out. But if you question them, they just drop the call straight away. Totally looks like a scam to me.

Somebody called me saying they were with TalkTalk but had no clue about any of my info. Then they asked if they could get on my computer to run some sort of scan. I told them I don’t have a computer and they just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it!

I was just writing a message about a TalkTalk scam when, out of nowhere, I got another call from them. Honestly, it’s left me feeling a bit shaken and really annoyed.

This morning, 18th Nov 2014, I got another call supposedly from Talk Talk. They told me my computer is full of viruses and tried to get me to let them fix it remotely. I rang Talk Talk myself and they told me that’s a total scam. Sometimes the caller’s number doesn’t even show up. I’ve had as many as 12 calls a day from these lot, and on occasion, they’ve been quite unpleasant.
