Looks like Mike Wilson has replaced Jennifer and is now ringing from 08433300024. He called me at 8.17 this morning, spouting the same rubbish threats and finished off with “have a blessed day”. Would seriously love to catch these dodgy scammers in the act.

Got a voicemail saying it was HMRC from the Jennifer Coleman dept. The number showed up as 01618187501. They said I had to get in touch right away to dodge some big legal trouble. It’s definitely a scam, the message was just pre-recorded and never mentioned anyone’s actual name.

Got a voicemail from 0161 818 7501 saying there was a urgent court case against me. The message said it was my final opportunity to sort things before legal steps were taken, supposedly from Jennifer Coleman (or Colman) at the "HMRC office". Ended the call with "goodbye and have a blessed day" - not something HMRC would usually say!

Got a call from a new number claiming to be Jennifer Coleman from HMRC - 2380972359. Looked her up and found loads of complaints. The same scary automated voicemail was left on my elderly mum's phone making it sound like she’s in big trouble. Luckily she’s careful and doesn’t pick up unknown calls, but it still upset her. Thought I’d share this number so others know - they just keep swapping numbers, it seems. We pay a fortune for our phone services - the phone companies really need to do something about this. It’s not just annoying anymore, it’s getting downright dangerous.

I just got a really scary call from 01133280761. The caller said they were Jennifer Coleman and warned me about some huge legal stuff that was supposedly gonna happen to me. There was no real person, just a recorded message. I double checked by ringing the official HMRC number and there were no issues at all. I've given my info to the right people to deal with it now. Sadly, our voicemail was full so the lady couldn’t say her name, but since everything else fits with the other accounts I reckon it's the same group. 2:05pm on 26th July 2018 - Got this call from what was clearly some robot voice (definitely not a real person), repeating the same lines others mentioned down here. It was obvious it wasn't from the UK - HMRC folks dont call themselves 'officers' and they never just call you randomly like that, not how they operate. Also, the phrase 'blessed day'?? The only people I know who talk like that are those extreme cult members from Gilead in The Handmaid’s Tale! (and that show's set in America!)

At about 10am on 25/7/18, I got a call from a lady with a posh, old-fashioned BBC accent saying I had one last chance to get back to someone named Jennifer Coleman claiming to be from HMRC, about a serious legal action against me. But the phone showed it was an international number, which is odd since HMRC is a UK governmental agency. Definitely a scam, so if you get one of these calls just ignore it and mark it as spam. No need to panic.

They wanted me to pay right away with my debit card, offering some kind of discount if I did it immediately. Turns out it’s a total scam, I wouldn’t get a penny of that money back. Don’t fall for it!

This woman said she was calling from the tax department and gave her name as Officer Jennifer Colman. She warned me about facing legal trouble if I didn’t respond. Before hanging up, she wished me a blessed day and said goodbye.
