Got a call from a bloke saying he was from Microsoft, telling me my Windows laptop was under attack from hackers. He wanted to take over my laptop to sort it out. When I told him I actually use Apple and don’t own a Windows machine, he insisted he could sort my Apple device instead. Honestly, don’t fall for this rubbish and never let them get anywhere near your computer - they’re just out to cause trouble!

I received a call from this number, and the individual on the other end purported to represent the Microsoft Technical Support team. They asserted that my computer was riddled with issues and offered to help rectify them. However, while they insisted they wouldn’t take control of my machine, it quickly became clear that their aim was to manipulate me into granting them full access. Exercise caution! It's worth noting that Microsoft would never reach out in this manner!

Heads up, don't answer that call! They're trying to get you to install some software so they can take over your computer and nick all your stuff from it. Proper dodgy, just hang up!

Oi, got buzzing from them three times today, had enough after the first so I told 'em exactly where to stick it. Then they ring again, and the third time? They just wouldn't stop pestering me! Said something about updating my software, but the connection was rubbish and the bloke was shouting all over the phone! Proper annoying.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with TalkTalk, saying my computer had some dodgy software and he could fix it by taking control remotely. I wasn’t convinced he was legit, so I ended the call. He rang me almost immediately afterwards, but I just told him I doubted he was really from TalkTalk and hung up once more.
