Got a ring on my house phone from some bloke who sounded Asian. He was all insisting that I switch on my computer because there was an issue with my router. Felt a bit off, so I just hung up. Didn't trust the vibe at all.

They claimed to be from TalkTalk, said there was an issue with my router and to sit at my pc so they could help fix it. When I told them I couldn’t get on my computer, they quickly hung up the phone.

definitely a scam, they said they were from talk talk and tried to get me to let them into my computer. i asked if they could prove they really worked for talk talk and then they just ended the call. what’s worrying is they knew enough about me, like my name and number, to sound convincing. they should be caught for trying this kind of thing.

Today, this number rang me up pretending to be from TalkTalk, saying there was a problem with my router and told me to turn on my computer. Honestly, I lost my patience and gave him a piece of my mind because I’m so over these annoying calls. I even asked if he’d seen the news about how TalkTalk got hacked and told him I’m fed up with scammers trying to nick my cash. After that, he just ended the call.

Seam called me but just cut off straight away.

This number kept ringing me with some scam about my router not being safe. The weird thing is, I work in IT so I kinda played along for like ten minutes, letting them talk their nonsense. Then I told them I’m not sure which computer they’re talking about since I just use tablets. Probably confused the poor scammer lol.

At first it’s just quiet on the line, then someone says a name like they think they’ve called me. It’s always on my bill, so I guess I’m paying for it. They claim to be from Talk Talk and ring me two times every day.

Really fishy call - I didn’t pick up, and as soon as my voicemail kicked in, they just ended the call.
