This morning at about 9:45, I got a call from 00189593602142. They kept asking for Mrs with just my first name and when I asked who was calling a few times, they just hung up. The number was from the USA, so I’m guessing it’s one of those scams. I didn’t say anything that would confirm my identity because I know how they use that info to mess with your bank. Just a heads up, don’t say yes or give out any info to strangers on the phone - these people are dodgy and it’s risky.

They said they were from the TPS, the Telephone Preference Service, but when I told them to leave me alone, they just kept ringing back. Honestly feels like harassment, pretty worrying stuff.

Got a ring from this number a little while ago, they were asking for someone else by a different name. Told them they had the wrong person and asked nicely for them not to bother me anymore.

I told them to take me off their list and they just refused and dropped the call on me.

This is just like my report on 29.12.17. We ended the call after they kept pushing for our debit card details. I've tried to find where to lodge an official complaint, but I can’t find any place to do it since no money was actually stolen.

So this person called saying they were from my phone company and wanted the rest of my card number, they already had the first four digits. I said no way and then they just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a call blocking company, saying they wanted to check if I was still getting annoying calls and could help stop them. They said they didn’t need any bank info or payments, but for ID verification, asked me to confirm the expiry date of a debit card they apparently had on file from 2019. They threw out some numbers like they already knew my card details. After I kept refusing to share anything, they finally ended the call. Quite a sneaky scam if you ask me.

She said she was just seeing if I was still getting those annoying calls, then went and hung up on me!

I got a call where the person claimed my mum’s card had been used for my phone bill. They tried asking for the 16 digit number and the expiry date. Thankfully, she just hung up on them straight away.
