Don't fall for it, it's a total con. They say they're from TalkTalk, but it's a fake. They try to convince you there's something wrong with your router, asking if the lights are blinking - which is perfectly normal, by the way. Just ignore and hang up. They've been calling me for ages, so expect loads more calls. They switch numbers all the time. I just keep blocking them. Honestly, try blowing a whistle when they call, might just drive them mad - serves them right!

Got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk, wanted to speak to me but only used my surname, no polite Mrs or Mr. When I asked who was calling, the person said "my name's (idiot) from TalkTalk, your internet supplier." I double checked by phoning TalkTalk myself since I'm a customer, and they've logged this number with their fraud team.

Got a call from the same number but the moment I picked up, they just disconnected. I've been getting calls like this from various numbers with people speaking in an 'Indian' accent saying they're from TalkTalk and there's an issue with my internet. I told them everything was fine on my end and then they just dropped the call.

Like what others said, some bloke with an Asian accent was on the line, loads of static in the background. He claimed to be from TalkTalk about a supposed issue with my router. This was actually the third time they’d called, but each time from a different number. I’ve just gone ahead and blocked them now.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk. She said someone was trying to get into my files and asked if I knew about it. I told her I didn’t have any files on my computer and she just cut me off. If they’re targeting older people, it could turn into a really serious problem. I really hope someone tracks these people down and makes sure they face the law.

Somebody with an Indian accent tried to scam us pretending to be from TalkTalk. As soon as my missus called it out as a scam, the bloke just hung up. This is the fourth time we've had these TalkTalk scam calls, all from various numbers too. It's a joke, really. I even got a letter from TalkTalk saying none of my personal info got stolen during their hacking incident - sounds like rubbish to me, or maybe they haven’t got a clue what actually went missing!

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent using an English name, saying she was phoning from TalkTalk. There was loads of background noise like an office while she was talking, and it was hard to understand her. She then asked if I was sitting at my computer, which made me suspicious. Figured it was probably a scam, so I just hung up.

Got a call from someone pretending to be TalkTalk, saying my internet was full of infected files whenever I went online. They wanted me to stay on the computer so he could help fix it. I’ve blocked the number now. These scammers are just pests, wish they’d be dealt with properly.

Got a call from an Asian guy, could barely hear him over all the noise in the background. He said he was with TalkTalk. Sounded just like the ones people have mentioned here before.

By default, they got blocked but I actually kinda miss checking how long I can keep these pests chatting before they catch on!
