I got a call from someone claiming to be with Ofcom, said they were going to disconnect my internet if I didn’t do something. Felt like a total scam to me.

Got a call today from 18001454150, someone said they were from Ofcom and that my BT line would be cut off in a day. I just ended the call straight away. Had a few calls like this before.

Got a call around noon on 2nd March 2019 from 0018001454150. It was a recorded message with a woman speaking in an English accent saying she was from Ofcom. She warned my BT internet was about to be disconnected and told me to press 1 for assistance. I just ended the call. Pretty sure I got one like it the day before from 01709 665486 as well.

So this number 0018001454150 rang me at about 10:50 this morning. It was one of those recorded messages pretending to be from Ofcom. They were warning me that my internet connection would be cut off within a day. They wanted me to press 1 to talk to BT but I just ignored it and ended the call. I've had calls like this before from other numbers that seem pretty much the same.

Got a recorded message from a woman saying she was calling on behalf of Ofcom. She warned that because of lots of hacking incidents nearby, my BT service was going to be cut off in a day. The message told me to press 1 to speak with BT, but I just ended the call. It was basically the same scam call I got the day before from this number 0018455748520, which came from the US too.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from Ofcom and said they'd cut off my internet if I didn’t do as they said.
