Got a call from a bloke with an American accent saying he was from Benson Mines, talking about buying out Granada and reckoning I was listed on the share register - totally untrue. He gave a New York address: 30 Grove St, NY 100004 and a phone number 001929 214 1601. Since the call was completely unexpected and he had wrong info, I told him to stop wasting my time and not to ring back. Looking through other comments here, Benson Mines seems to be a name scammers like to use, and this one sounded very much like the same old story.
