Got a ring from someone claiming to be KCOM about setting up fibre optic for my landline. It felt fishy because they asked me to pop into a shop and grab a £25 phone card. Didn't sound right at all!

I recently received a call from the number 00164##########, and they inquired about my university. Initially, I presumed it was from the institution itself, but thankfully, they didn’t delve into any sensitive information.

I received a call named 'Suspected Fraud' from my supplier.

I received a call from them at 6am, instructing me not to return their call, even though they were the ones who called me. How impolite!

Got a call from 0016469908236 and the person just kept whispering the whole time. Sounds really dodgy. I’d say just ignore any calls coming from that number.

The individual incessantly makes phone calls and engages in nonsensical conversations.

Got a call from 0016467807472 pretending to be from the bank, saying there were two payments made on my credit card. Definitely a scam alert.

Somebody managed to get my phone number, which I hardly ever share. The call showed it was from Ontario. The person on the line, who was hard to understand, claimed to be calling from the UK about some kind of account and said my number appeared in their system. But I live in New Zealand! It’s obviously a scam trying to trick me and others. Please do something to block this fast before they fool older people into giving money away. The number that appeared on my phone was 0016479854232.

Somebody’s offered to buy my Pru shares for way more than they’re worth. Sounds a bit fishy to me. But just??? ?????

calling every day, usually a couple times daily

This number 0016473747237 hass called me 3 times over the past couple of days, one was even as early as 7.54am. Proper annoying it's getting.

Got three calls already, all pretending to be Amazon Prime scams.

Got a couple of calls earlier about some Amazon Prime account I’m not even signed up for. They kept pushing me to cancel a fake subscription and wanted me to download this Anywhere app to let them access my computer. Once I said I wouldn’t share any numbers and told them I didn’t trust what they were saying, they just ended the call.

0016474781696 just a scam pretending to be Amazon Prime and 016476342940 tried calling me but I didnt pick up.

Didn’t know the number so I just let it ring, no voicemail was left. Get calls from alike numbers all the time.

Didn’t pick up, didn’t know the numbers 0016475579205 and 0016473495463. No voicemail left either.

Got a missed call from 0016470727237 when I was out. Didn’t get any voicemail or message. The number’s not familiar at all. We’ve had quite a few calls starting with 00164 in the past few days. Most times it’s some automated voice about Amazon accounts or something like that.

Got a call from +1(646)865-4576 earlier, didn’t pick up, just blocked them straight away.

0161462486959 just rang but I didnt pick up. I’m so fed up with all the scam and cold calls these days. I’ve now put a message on my answerphone saying that if I don’t know the number and they’re legit, they should leave a message, otherwise I won’t answer and will block them straight away.

I received a call from a person using the number 00164###, claiming to be from Sky. They informed me that there was an individual attempting to hack into my internet. However, I quickly realized that the caller was not genuinely from Sky and promptly ended the conversation.

I constantly receive phone calls from this particular code during the early hours of the morning and late at night, both on my landline and mobile. But I choose to ignore them!

I picked up but didnt say a word before they just ended the call on me.

Got a call from 00164931837846397, it was some automated voice with an American accent saying something about Amazon Prime and a payment of £39.99 being taken from my account. They said to press 1 if I wanted to renew. I just hung up straight away.

I recently received a second message claiming to be from TalkTalk, indicating that my IP number had been breached. The message requested me to press 1, but I did not comply. The number displayed on the message was 00164###. In this advanced technological era, I would expect the police to have the capability to track these numbers.

I received two phone calls this morning from a phone number starting with 00164. What was surprising is that the second call came even after I had blocked the first one!

I recently received a claim that someone has withdrawn £### from my account.

Just saw 00164 come up, no other digits, so I didn’t pick up... never heard of a number that brief before.

I keep receiving countless calls from an automated message via the number 00164 ### ###. It drives me crazy and feels like a violation of my privacy. Isn't it possible to block any fake numbers that start with 00164?

Beware of scammers who pretend to know that you own shares in a company and want to purchase them. It's best to immediately end the call with such individuals.

Today, I received a phone call from someone who claimed that there was a £### transaction. They left a message on my answering machine but I decided to ignore it.

I received a call from an unknown number, but I chose not to answer.

This morning, I received two phone calls within the span of five minutes. However, to my surprise, no one spoke on the other end. Instead, all I heard was a series of beeps.

Ignore calls from that number; either let it ring or block it.

Receiving them on a daily basis, without interruption.

Please disregard any numbers that begin with 00164.

I’ve gone ahead and blocked this number since the code shows it’s from the US.
