today at about 11:31 am, i got a call from a lady speaking with a kind of asian-american accent. she said she was ringing from bt and told me my ip got hacked by someone in switzerland. sounded like nonsense to me. when i asked her for a phone number to ring back, she just wouldn't give it and told me to check bt's website instead. definitely a scam, and a nasty one at that. honestly, they ought to be stopped for good.

Had a ring from this number earlier. At first, it was dead silent for like half a minute, then suddenly an automated voice said 'goodbye' and hung up. Lately I’ve had a few calls from someone with an Asian accent saying something about my computer being hacked or something similar, but I just ended the call without bothering to note the number. Reading what others have shared, it might be linked to the same scammer. I’ll make sure to check next time.

So around 11:31 in the morning, I got a call from a lady who sounded like she had an Asian-American accent. She said she was calling from BT and told me that someone in Switzerland had hacked my IP address. Total nonsense if you ask me. When I asked her for a phone number to call her back, she wouldn't give one and just told me to check the BT website. Definitely a dodgy scam, and a risky one at that. Honestly, these kinds of calls should be stopped for good.

I've had these lot ringing me nonstop, claiming my internet is throwing errors and telling me to fetch my laptop. Thing is, I don't even own a computer or a laptop! When I mention this, they just start getting rude. They've probably called me about ten times in just a few days. It's obvious they're scammers trying to sneak into your computer to nick your bank details or worse. They ain't from BT or anything official. Best thing is to just ignore or hang up straight away.

A guy with an Asian accent called me, claiming my BT internet and phone line were under attack and they'd have to disconnect my service. I’m not even a BT internet customer, so I just said “oh really?” and ended the call right away.
