Received a call from +13867039456690, didn’t recognise the number at all.

Got a call from 0013863380842 yesterday claiming to be from BT, and they rang again today. I didn’t pick up since it seemed dodgy, probably a scam.

Received a dodgy call from the number 001382348044 - they tried to convince me that a hefty sum had mysteriously disappeared from my account. Just to clarify, it wasn't my bank reaching out!

Got a call from 00138693486235 and a few other numbers saying my prime Amazon membership was going to expire or that my BT line might get cut off. They told me to press 1 to speak with them. Even though my number is ex-directory, I still get hassle on my landline. I reckon phone lists are sold by local councils since you have to hand over your number for credit checks, and they cash in by selling those lists. Definitely feels like a scam to me.
