I received a prerecorded call that kept cutting in and out, so it was really difficult to understand. The caller claimed to be Eric Foster from HM Revenue & Customs. What annoyed me even more was that at the end, the voice cheerfully said, “Have a good day,” which felt totally out of place. I’m aware it’s a scam, but I worry about elderly folks who get these calls - they do get genuinely scared by it.

Honestly, this website saved me! There was a voicemail waiting on my machine, and it came across pretty rude. Just went ahead and erased it instead of getting worked up. If I hadn’t looked up this number here first, I’d probably still be annoyed about it.

Some bloke claimed to be Officer Eric Foster, telling me it was my final chance to dodge a big lawsuit - totally dodgy since it was all automated, no actual person speaking. He ended it with “have a bless day,” which just made it seem even more fake.

Got a call with an automated voice from M Revenue that was pretty threatening. Totally felt like some kind of scam to me.

some bloke called himself henry smith from hm revenue & customs london but his voice was all muffled and hard to follow. he started banging on about a serious lawsuit against us, but when i asked to speak to his boss since i wasn’t quite getting what he was on about, he just snapped ‘are you deaf, b*****d?’. i just hung up straight away. definitely one of those scammy calls but honestly it was quite nasty.

Got one of those automated calls saying it was from HM Customs. Just hearing that was enough to make me hang up straight away! I honestly don’t get how anyone could be fooled by these scams.

Just got this automated call myself, never heard of this one before. Feels like these scammers have given up on chatting and now prefer sending messages. Beats the usual TalkTalk scam calls I keep getting, I guess.

Got a call from this number tonight and at first, it proper threw me off. But as the message kept going, it got a bit of a laugh really and you could tell it was a total scam, especially when they ended with "have a blessed day". Honestly, don’t bother picking up if this number rings you.

I got an automated call that kept cutting out and was pretty hard to understand. It was supposed to be from HM Customs and Excise, saying there’s some urgent issue they’ve noticed and I need to call back straight away on the number they gave. At the end, they said something like “hope you have a lovely day!” which really gave away it was a scam. Definitely not legit.
