This woman from Asia rang me claiming she could stop all my spam calls. It felt like she knew way too much about me. Bit risky if you ask me!

No way! Just got a call from someone pretending to help stop scam calls but asking for my bank info instead. It’s crazy how simple it is for these people to get their hands on our personal stuff to try and cheat us. I’ve lost track of how many scam calls I get from all sorts of different numbers. As soon as I block one, another pops up. Really grateful for this site though, I end up relying on it a lot, which is a shame.

Got a call at like 8am just as I was trying to catch some zzz’s. Bloody annoying! Hope they just disappear for good.

Got a call from this number around 10:30 this morning. The guy on the phone had an asian accent and claimed he was with the tps. He said from tomorrow i wouldn't get any more annoying calls. But once i told him i already pay for a service, he just hung up on me. It's so frustrating. When will anything be done to stop these callers?

Got a call this morning but when I answered, no one spoke. Pretty annoyed because it was the second time in about 30 minutes something like this happened (and the same number also called me yesterday). These sorts of calls are just so irritating!

As soon as I picked up, he just hung up on me. I guess my deep voice wasn't what he wanted - probably only targets wee old ladies, those bloody scoundrels!

I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from some telephone preference thing. He said if I gave my details, nuisance calls would stop starting tomorrow. I didn’t want to give my name and address, so the line just went dead on me.

On the 1st of Feb, 2018, I got a call from a woman who said her name was Michelle, speaking with an Asian accent. She told me she was calling from the telephone preference service, but it was obviously a scam like the others I've encountered. The line just went dead on me.

I got a ring from this number today. Definitely a scam, watch out.

some bloke with an indian accent calling himself ‘kevin’ said he was from the telephone preference service and was trying to sell me a simple solution to stop pesky calls. i just told him the easiest fix was if he simply didn’t ring me at all, then he hung up.

Got a call from some bloke abroad claiming he wanted to shield me from spam calls. He then asked for my debit card details, like the expiry date, the name on the card, and the number itself. Afterwards, his so-called supervisor called me, but when I mentioned I suspected it was a scam, the guy just went silent.

Got a call from some bloke overseas claiming he wanted to shield us from pesky spam calls. Definitely sounded like a scam to me!
