It seems I've received a call from someone purporting to represent the Telephone Preference Service, and they were quite forward in soliciting financial information. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a call from an Indian woman inquiring about the homeowner. She claimed to be from Telephone Preference Management, and somehow knew that I pay for my phone via direct debit. She mentioned that my card was set to expire soon and requested details for the new one. Clearly a scam! Direct debits are managed by the bank and have nothing to do with credit or debit cards. I kindly instructed her to refrain from contacting us again!
