got a call from some asian bloke called matt, which obviously was a fake name like abdul or something! he said it was about my internet, so i just told him he was a total berk and a load of other rude stuff, then hung up. nothing better than winding these lot up!

I received a rather suspicious call today from someone who sounded Indian or perhaps Asian, claiming that my internet would be disconnected in a fortnight due to my router being compromised. He insisted I bring my computer over to the router so he could guide me through the supposed problem. When I probed him about my internet provider, he mumbled a response and claimed to be from Virgin Media. I couldn't help but laugh, as I immediately let him know he was talking nonsense since I rely entirely on 4G for my mobile service. That's when he became quite confrontational, and I didn't hold back in giving him a piece of my mind. Honestly, it infuriates me to think that these people are out there trying to dupe innocent folks who might not have a clue. Absolute lowlifes.

Got a call from someone who sounded like they were from India, saying my BT internet was infected with a virus and would be disconnected for two weeks unless they could get into my computer to sort it out. Absolute muppets trying to scam me. I don’t even use BT, but they didn’t care. Last time I had a call like this, they threatened to send the police to arrest me. Still waiting on the cops, and my internet’s working fine, as usual.

Got a call at my job from some bloke with an Indian accent. He asked if it was a business number and what we actually did there. I told him I wasn’t giving out any info until he introduced himself and explained why he was calling, cos if he was genuine he’d know what sort of company this is. He was pretty sketchy about being from London. When I asked again what he wanted, he suddenly said he wanted to speak to my manager to complain about me. I just hung up. Felt dodgy from the beginning and he couldn’t even answer straightforward questions properly. Total waste of time.

I'm absolutely at my wits' end with these individuals! It's making everyone wary of anyone unfamiliar, which is quite unfortunate. It's truly a disgrace. Perhaps they should spend some time reflecting in a secluded corner or something similarly appropriate.

Gave my dad a bell, he's 84 years old you see. I fund the internet connection at his place, not him. If I eventually get a response, I've got plenty to discuss.

Got a phone call earlier from a guy who spoke with an Indian accent, said his name was Max. He claimed my internet was gonna be switched off for a day. Then he told me to get on my laptop and type some stuff, which I never went along with. I asked him how he could prove he was from BT since he knew my name and where I live. Even though he sounded proper polite, I told him to jog on.

I received a rather unsettling phone call from this number earlier. An Asian gentleman on the other end was quite hostile, claiming my internet service would be terminated soon. He mentioned that there were reports of attempts to compromise my IP address. When I asked for the name of my internet provider, he answered 'Talk Talk,' which was spot on. However, I wasn't going to get out of bed and power up my computer just because he demanded it. I suggested he send me an email if he was at all legitimate. In the end, I decided it was best to hang up.

I received a rather perplexing call from a woman with an accent that hinted at Indian or Asian origins. Her command of English left much to be desired, as she didn’t even bother to introduce herself or inquire about my name. Instead, she jumped right into an alarming tale about my internet service being at peril-threatening disconnection in a matter of hours or perhaps a fortnight; the timeline was all rather muddled. When I expressed my struggle to catch her drift-being quite unversed in Pidgin-she abruptly ended the conversation when I quizzed her about my internet service provider. It reeked of a poorly veiled scam, if you ask me. I highly recommend blocking and reporting this number for everyone's safety!

i got a call from a guy who sounded indian, claiming to be from bt. he told me my internet was about to be cut off in a day. when i told him i dont even use bt, he just went on like he didnt hear me. i just ended the call right there.

I received a call from someone with an Asian accent who oddly stated my last name. When I responded affirmatively, he introduced himself as Shaun or Sean. I couldn’t help but remark that he seemed more Asian than Irish, and just like that, he cut the conversation short. It was a rather clever tactic to fend him off, and I must admit, it gave me a good chuckle. It's been ages since I had such a good laugh!

This number keeps ringing me up on Saturday mornings, always saying they're from TalkTalk. When I ask for a callback number, they just drop the call. One time, the caller even told me to go to hell! Feels dodgy to me, like they're trying to scam you and grab your personal info.
