I've been getting calls from this number at my office, so I gave it to my real IT support crew. They came back and said it’s definitely a scam. They told me to record any chats because it seems like these people are under investigation.

spoke to a guy from india, but the phone line was awful. he said he was calling from some sort of computer maintenance team. i had already come across this scam before, so i told him straight up i wasn’t interested and ended the call. i think they're just trying to get your computer login details so they can hack in and take your stuff.

Got a call earlier today saying my computer was infected with some virus. I ended the call straight away - sounded totally dodgy. The guy had this weird Indian accent trying to sound American. Pretty sure it was just some scam artist.

This number rang me for the first time today. Some bloke with an Indian accent said my home PC was infected with a virus and asked me to sit down in front of it so he could fix the issue. I told him I was tied up and couldn’t do that. He said he’d call back later. I might not be in when he does. Seems like a clear scam, so watch out.

Some weirdo with a funny accent called me, saying my PC supposedly sent them a message about a virus and that it needed fixing. Like, when did my computer suddenly turn into a snitch? Honestly, who falls for this stuff? So obvious it's a scam.

Got calls from some software scam claiming to be from Windows. The first time I played along pretending to be interested in double glazing, kept him on the line until he was taking window sizes. The next call, I flipped it and offered to sell him a rusty old bike, told him I'd ship it to India, and he just hung up on me. Honestly, I find it hilarious to mess with these scammers.

total scam, honestly. when i asked him "who am i?" he kinda freaked out cause i wasn't an easy target. if they're ringing you, shouldn't they already know who they want? he had no clue who was picking up. yeah, definitely a scam. just tell em to piss off.
