Got a call from a woman named Carol claiming to be from some Windows maintenance team in Oxfordshire. She said there was an error on my computer. I’d just had it checked over, so I’m pretty sure it was just a scam.

Got a call claiming to be from the “Windows tech support” team - who in their right mind wants to hack into your computer and load some sketchy programs? Definitely not buying it.

Blimey, this number just rang us at half eight! Who on earth calls at such an hour and doesn’t bother leaving a message? Quite baffling, if you ask me!

Some bloke claiming to be from Windows rang me up saying I'd somehow got dodgy files on my computer. He wanted me to turn it on so he could hop on and fix the “issue.” As someone proper into IT, I knew this was a load of rubbish right away. Watch out for this scam and just block the number or get a new phone instead!
