I'm getting bombarded with countless phone calls and it's driving me absolutely bonkers! I've resorted to ignoring them altogether at this point. Does anyone know how to put an end to this nuisance?

Honestly, dealing with random calls is such a hassle, I don’t know what I’d do without caller ID these days.

I received a call where the caller ID oddly displayed my own number, followed by a strange sequence: 1001696. Quite bizarre, to be honest! When I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end. What on earth was that all about?

In the last week alone, I've received five phone calls from this number, and they all seem to be the same old Windows scam. Each time, I've pushed back against the callers, and it's rather amusing how some of them dared to argue with me, while one even had the audacity to chuckle! It feels as though these calls come in waves - a flurry of them for a few days, followed by a lull where silence reigns. Quite the odd pattern if you ask me!

I’ve had quite enough of these persistent calls!

I’m in the same boat. I keep getting these incessant calls from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting there's an issue with my computer’s security. I decided to play along for a bit, then casually mentioned that I don’t actually own a PC. He hung up rather quickly after that! However, he’s now tried to ring me twice already this morning. Is there no one dealing with these scammers? It's getting quite ridiculous!

I received a rather peculiar call from a chap who claimed to be representing Microsoft. He insisted that I boot up my computer and adhere to his directions to eliminate some supposed malware. I must admit, I became rather irritated when I questioned his legitimacy and expressed my suspicion that it was a scam. Had I acquiesced to his requests, he would have been able to take control of my device remotely-imagine the potential consequences! I genuinely hope he doesn't manage to ensnare anyone else in his dubious little plot.

This complete loon rang asking if I was the one who owned the computer.

For the past couple of days, they've been ringing me at exactly the same time each afternoon.
