Got two texts from this number within a week, which ended up costing me £10. Tesco Mobile has blocked all premium texts for me now but refuses to take responsibility since I never sent any requests for those messages. Honestly, these premium rate numbers ought to be blocked automatically unless you choose to accept them.

This month I noticed two separate £4.50 charges on my Tesco statement. Got a text about it a couple of weeks ago and replied with STOP as instructed, but the charges kept coming through. They seem to be using two different numbers, both linked to valuetsay.mobi/login. One of the numbers shows up as 65 333. I've now changed my safety buffer to £2.50 in my account and blocked both numbers on my iPhone to try and put an end to this.

My wife's phone got hit with this scam yesterday. They sent the charge five times, but thankfully I keep a £5 limit on the account so we only lost about £4.50. Tesco told us the trick is they send texts beforehand saying they'll charge you unless you reply with STOP. After seeing what others said here, I've now added a Premium SMS block on both our mobiles to stop it happening again.

Got no text or anything, just got charged £4.50 out of the blue. Spoke to my phone company and they said they’d never come across this before, but they’ve now stopped any more premium calls and charges going forward. I’m definitely gonna report this to the regulators, but honestly, I’m not sure if they or the phone firms really care enough to put a stop to this sort of scam!

Got charged twice £4.50 for premium texts from 00089465333! Rang my network provider and they’ve blocked all premium calls on my phone now. I’ve also dropped an email to the company asking for a refund. If that doesn’t work, I’m thinking to take it to Ofcom next.

Telling them to ‘stop’ isn't helping at all-these premium charges are proving quite tricky to get rid of. It seems the only foolproof way to escape this is to get a new phone number altogether.
