Can't quite understand what that was all about!10 yearsJust like everyone else, I said I wasn’t interested but they keep ringing. When I didn’t give them the info they wanted, they just hung up straight away. I don’t even use Norton Security myself. Cheers, EricEric10 yearsI answered the phone only to have the caller hang up immediately. Typical behaviour of shady scammers, if you ask me!10 yearsI received a call from someone who claimed to be from Norton, and, regrettably, I let them take control of my computer. They insisted I hang up while they supposedly sorted out an alarming number of viruses-thousands, in fact! Then they called me back, urging me to ring them urgently on an 0843 number. I had my doubts and decided to reach out to Norton directly to see if they were actually conducting any sort of check-up. To my relief, they confirmed it was all a ruse. Norton examined my machine and managed to remove five dodgy programs that the con artists had installed while they were at it. Quite a lesson learned!Norton10 yearsJust a heads up, I got a call claiming to be from Norton Security. They tried to get me to let them into my computer.
