Since the 4th of September 2021, I’ve been getting calls from this number, which has been quite annoying. It’s the first time I’ve encountered calls like this. To give some context: on 4th September, I got calls at 10:59 in the morning, then again at 1:23 in the afternoon, and later at 4:58. The following day, 5th September, calls came through at 10:22am and then another at 5:05pm. On 6th September, there were calls at 9:14 and 9:58 in the morning, followed by 3:02pm and 4:12pm. I even tried sending a text hoping for some response but got nothing back. Frustrated, I looked up the area code to find out more. Hopefully, this gets some attention. I’ve already put this number on my block list. Cheers.

Seriously, avoid calling back the number 0280000007, especially if you've got a monthly plan with your provider. They’ll slap a hefty charge on your bill, which you’ll only notice later. Whenever you pick up, they hang up quickly on purpose, hoping you’ll ring them again. They keep ringing you off and on throughout the week or even over several weeks, making it seem like it’s urgent or important. I answered once and could hear a bunch of people whispering quietly in the background. Thankfully, I don’t have any subscription plans tied to my phone, so I wasn’t hit with extra costs. Make sure to block this number right away!

They keep ringing me from the Philippines, really annoying!

For the past week, this number 0280000007 has been ringing me every morning and it’s gotten really irritating and quite unsettling. I did pick up once, thinking it might be that overseas call I was expecting, but it just hung up after a couple of seconds. Honestly, it feels super dodgy. Proper creepy, honestly 😨

This number keeps ringing almost daily, but whenever I pick up, they just cut off straight away.

For some reason, this number hasn’t stopped ringing my phone. It started back on June 30th, when they called me twice between 4 and 6 in the evening. Then the very next day, the calls came again at about the same time. They’ve been pestering me daily! Just today at 3:15pm, I got another call from them. I have no clue what they want. It’s a bit awkward - sometimes I pick up and there’s just silence on the other end!
