This number has been blowing up my phone non-stop. I’ve ended up talking to three different folks, all with Indian accents, claiming they’re from some sort of Accident Assistance centre. They keep telling me they're calling back regarding an accident, and that someone from this number supposedly contacted them first. But when I ask them who exactly called, seeing as this is meant to be a business line, they can’t seem to give me a proper name. Honestly, they’ve rung me about 25 times in just one hour. It’s pure harassment - wish there was a way to take legal action against them!

This number rang me up earlier today. It was obviously a busy call centre and the lady on the line had such a strong Indian accent, I couldn’t make out much, only that it was about insurance or something like that. I ended the call straight away. I’ve also reported them to ACMA, who handle the do not call list, because I’m not only not on their list but actually registered on the do not call register, so I’m baffled how they managed to get hold of my number!

This morning, I got a call from someone with an Indian accent, trying to trick me about a so-called 'car accident'.

I decided to report it to telstra since I noticed that for the first two calls, even though I didnt answer them, I still got billed 80 cents each time. If you get calls from this number, double check your phone bill to see if you’ve been charged for them too.

Got a call from someone saying they were looking into accidents, wanted to know if anyone in the house had been involved in one over the last year. I told them no, and they just said alright, no accidents then and cut me off. I was using my private number and it was around lunchtime on a Saturday.

Got calls on my work line from different numbers about five times now. They claimed I had been in a crash, but I denied it. Then they asked about someone in the family, but when I told them it was a business number, they just cut me off.

It was strange, but they somehow already had info about the crash we were in and my mum's injuries. They tricked us into handing over our full names, dates of birth, and phone numbers without us realising.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent, saying he was my daughter's boyfriend and had been chatting with her online! My daughter’s just nine and definitely not online. When I called back, a woman answered and started asking me about a car crash! Really strange situation.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be from some Health Accident Investigation group, sounded like he had an Indian accent and said his name was "Ben". He asked if I’d been in any accident around here in the past couple years. I tried to get some details from him like who was involved or what kind of car, but he kept dodging the questions. I humoured him for a bit. Then he said I supposedly drive a black Holden - definitely not true. I just told him to piss off and hung up. 100% a scam!

So, just about 5 in the evening on the 22nd of Sept 2016, I got a call from someone claiming to be Accident Investigations. I asked what firm they were with, but they couldn’t give me any info. When I asked for specifics about the accident, they said they didn’t have any. I then questioned why they were ringing me, and then they just cut the call. The voice was a woman with an Indian or Pakistani accent.

Just had a call from this muppet today, called him out straight away and he just slammed the phone down. My number isn’t even listed so he must be dialing at random. If they’ve got his details, I don’t see why the authorities can’t deal with this tosser. He’s ringing from Sydney and I’m over here in Perth.

Absolutely a scam call! I've received a fair few from this number. They claimed to be from some Accident Helpline, saying they were phoning about an injury from an accident and that my contact info had been passed on by an insurance firm. Quite amusing, really, since I haven't been in an accident in over two decades! It's clearly an Indian scam aimed at fishing for personal details.

This number has been ringing us loads about an accident claim. We told them we hadn’t been involved in any accident and weren’t interested. We keep getting roughly 20 calls from it, but whenever we pick up, they just drop the call. It’s a business line they’re calling, which makes it even more annoying! One time we picked up and the person just kept repeating ‘okay’ over and over before suddenly hanging up.
Just as I’m typing this, they called again, said they were from an accident helpline, and when I asked what help they needed, they went quiet and ended the call!

Someone called me claiming I crashed their car in Perth, but the number was from NSW and sounded like it might be Indian or Pakistani, not sure. They demanded $10,000 from me but refused to give me their car registration details or their name. Then they threatened to send the police round to my place. When I asked where they got my number from, they said they couldn’t say and told me I had to talk to their lawyer instead. The lawyer supposedly goes by the name Adam, and there’s another number linked to them: 028874789.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from accident investigators. He told me someone using my phone number was involved in a crash last year. When I asked for the vehicle registration, he said he didn’t have those details. Then I asked what info he DID have and he just hung up on me. The call was from a NSW number but I’m in WA, so it’s clearly some kinda scam.

I asked them which accident they were talking about, and they just said it was one from the past two years. When I pressed for more info or who was involved, they said they were calling to confirm details. How am I meant to confirm anything if they won’t give me any specifics? Ended the call there. Seems fishy, probably some kind of scam.

I was told there was an issue with tax evasion and that if I didn’t get back to them, they’d do something about it. They even got quite annoyed when I didn’t respond! Just so you know, I’m based in South Australia.
