Received a call claiming to be from Microsoft! I managed to keep her on the line for more than a quarter of an hour before she finally caught on that I was just stringing her along.

My spouse just took a call from this number, where a chap with an Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. He insisted on assisting with our computer issues and continued pressuring my husband to log in, even after he mentioned that he was speaking with a police officer - we thought that would make him hang up, but not so! Eventually, my husband managed to ask for his name and contact details. The caller provided the name Patrick Williams, with an address at 207 Thelma Road, Leicester. However, when we looked it up, it turned out to be listed as the former Money Advice Bureau, which is certainly not accurate and seems to have vanished entirely. Stay vigilant with these types of callers; they're incredibly bold and seem to have their tactics down to a fine art these days!

I received a call from this number at precisely 10:53 am on the 3rd of June, 2015. Initially, there was an eerie silence on the other end. After repeatedly greeting the caller with "Hello," a male voice with an Asian accent finally replied, claiming to be from "Tech Support." Really? As if any legitimate service provider would reach out unannounced regarding an issue! It’s a struggle enough when you try to get them to assist you yourself! He clearly didn’t even know my name, which is a giveaway he hadn’t a clue who he was contacting. Having encountered these fraudulent calls before, I pointedly told him I recognised he was up to no good and promptly hung up.

This morning at half past eleven, on the second of June, I received a rather unwelcome call from this number. I was anxiously anticipating a critical update from the hospital regarding my granddaughter, who had been admitted in quite a hurry. In my haste to reach the phone, I lost my footing on the stairs and ended up tumbling down. When I finally answered, I was met by an individual with an Indian accent who was rambling on about my computer. At the tender age of 71 and already facing challenges with my mobility, this incident certainly hasn't improved my condition.

I had a strange phone call claiming they were from Microsoft and that my computer had been compromised. Quite suspicious, to say the least!

23rd May 2015, 21:12 - I picked up the phone, only for the caller to hang up straight away without uttering a word. Honestly, these numpties need to be put in their place!

Received a rather dubious call from some blokes purporting to represent Microsoft, requesting my personal information. I firmly suggested they go take a long walk off a short pier, if you catch my drift. Unsurprisingly, they disconnected in a hurry. Let’s be clear, Microsoft wouldn't reach out to people in such a shifty manner!

I received a call from this number at 10:15 PM on the 19th of May, 2015. An individual with a distinct Indian accent claimed to be representing 'Windows' and informed me that my computer was under siege by hackers attempting to breach its security. He requested that I power on my computer, despite it already being on, to assist me in resolving the supposed issues. Luckily, I recognised it as a dubious scheme and suspected he was the one trying to infiltrate my system. I politely declined his assistance and ended the conversation. Please take heed! I strongly suspect that genuine Windows representatives do not reach out to individuals in such a fashion.

I’ve had my fair share of calls from these persistent folks. They’ve rung me six times on a Saturday, three times on a Monday, and twice on Tuesday, with the last call coming through at a rather inconvenient 10.15 PM. Every time I pick up, they cut the call before I can even express my disinterest. I've made it quite clear that I’m not keen on doing surveys and have requested they stop calling me. Yet, they keep insisting it’ll only take a couple of minutes and promise not to bother me again. It’s infuriating! A few times when I tried to explain my stance, they just hung up mid-conversation. It’s beyond frustrating!
