He kept insisting he could fix our computer issues and kept pushing my partner to log in, even after he said he was a police officer, which I thought would make him hang up straight away! In the end, my partner asked for his name and contact details, and he was given: Patrick Williams, 207 Thelma Road, Leicester. When I looked up that address, it showed up as Money Advice Bureau in Leicester, but it seems to be false and the place doesn’t seem to exist anymore. When I answered, there was only silence for a bit. After I kept saying "Hello," a man with an Asian accent finally spoke up and claimed he was from Tech Support. As if any legit company would ring you without warning about an issue! Trying to get through to your actual provider is a difficult enough task when you’re the one making the call. Plus, this bloke clearly had no clue who he was calling because he couldn’t even say my name.
