Received a couple of calls today, one at 10:34am and another at 11:39am, from an out-of-state number I've saved as "Telemarketer" with a silent ring tone. This one is number 54 on my list of telemarketers. Makes me wonder if they’re still up to some kind of interstate scam? Both times, no voicemail was left, as usual. I didn’t pick up - especially with these tagged numbers - but did check the number on this site straight away. I’ve been registered on the National Do-Not-Call Registry for a couple of years now, so it feels like the government’s not exactly doing much to help here. Once more, I’m going to file complaints through the http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx websites - hopefully to get them to step up and put a stop to this nonsense. I’ve even saved these links for quick access. We really should all be reporting these calls - I’m certainly not letting up!

This morning at about 9:18am, I got a call from a number out of state that I definitely don’t recognise or have any connection with. Makes me wonder if this could be some kind of interstate scam? Unsurprisingly, they didn’t bother leaving a message. Like usual, I didn’t pick up but decided to check the number here. I’ve been on the National Do-Not-Call Registry for a few years now, so it’s frustrating to still get these calls. Feels like the government isn’t really doing its bit, despite what they claim. I’m planning to report this through both http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and hope the authorities actually sort it out. I’m serious about following through with the whole process. I’ve even saved both websites for future use. Also, this number now has a silent ringtone assigned - I’m up to 54 numbers blocked this way. If more of us did the same, maybe we could make a difference.
