I called the number +1(918)8444111 and the person said I won a lottery. They mentioned some website called sonykbc.website and sent me a lottery number. When I checked, it showed a prize of 2,500,000 rupees. Later, when I rang back, they asked for my Aadhaar card, a photocopy of it, and my bank account details. Then they said I had to pay 8,000 rupees to claim the prize. They claimed they were speaking from KBC's Mumbai head office, but it all sounded fishy to me.

Yaar kuch bhi nahi hota, ye log bas bakwaas kar ke logon se paisa lene ki chalti nayi trick nikal rahe hain. Garib aadmi ya uske gharwale ko keh dete hain, fir woh pareshaan hokar kahin se paisa jamaa kar dete hain. Agar nahi bhi milta to banda marr jata hai stress se. Mere paas bhi aisi call aayi thi, maine bhi baat ki thi, aur 12000 rupaye mang rahe the, ki paise daal ke uska photo bhej do, tab teri account me paisa daal diya jayega. Bilkul fraud hi tha bhai!

Firstly, big thanks to the whole KBC crew! So last Friday, I got a call from a number +121, then they asked me to ring back on 00923008460111, belongs to Mr Sundar Singh. They told me I’d won a lottery prize of 2,500,000. I decided to check that number on TrueCaller and found out it’s actually from Pakistan. Then I looked up the official KBC office number, 0019188444111, and checked it on TrueCaller too - turns out it’s linked to Oklahoma Plaza Mumbai. I gave that number a ring, and Mr Vinod Kumar answered. He verified my number and gave me the good news that I really did win the lottery. They asked me to pay a transfer fee of 35,000, which I did. After that, they took my bank details and sent the prize money to my account. Huge thanks to Mr Vinod Kumar and all the KBC team!

This number is totally dodgy, don't ever give your info to it. I got a call from it and honestly, it managed to scam me out of 15,000, 35,000, 65,000 and even 75,000. They never returned a single penny and I ended up losing my jackpot to this con. I’m warning everyone so no one else falls for this rubbish. Just don’t trust that number at all.

I actually dialled this number myself and ended up winning a lottery of 25 lakh! Its the genuine KBC number, no doubt. Big thanks to Rajish Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan for that!

I'm pretty sure this number belongs to the KBC head office. I actually called them to claim my lottery winnings, and it went through without any issues.

I called this number thinking it was the KBC head office in Mumbai. Turns out, they were talking about some fake lottery prize of 25,00,000. Total waste of time!

it's honestly just a scam aimed at ordinary folks... that number isn't real. Numbers starting with 00 are international, which means calling back can cost you loads. So, please, avoid picking up these calls and definitely never give out your details like bank account numbers or CVV codes.

I actually gave this number a ring myself and ended up going to the Mumbai KBC main office as well. Seems legit to me.

That number 0019188444111 claims to be from Kaun Banega Crorepati but it’s a total scam. It’s definitely not from India, so watch out and don’t trust it.
