It's clear that this is just blatant spam... the sender seems wholly incapable of spelling properly or concealing their dodgy intentions. Honestly, receiving an email from someone like this

On the 31st of March, I was hit with what can only be described as a spammy message. The sender claimed they spotted my photo on Facebook (quite flattering, I suppose!) and mentioned that their webcam is up and running again. They expressed a desire to get to know me better, insisting I’m precisely what they’re looking for! They even asked if I could drop a text on their mobile today just to verify I’m a genuine person. They provided the number (917) 768-6828 and said they’d be eagerly awaiting a reply! Additionally, they suggested connecting on Yahoo Messenger, sharing the username adristillwell, mentioning they’re usually online at home. Looking forward to our chat, they signed off as “baby” and said they’d be waiting. Quite the forward message, if you ask me!

I received an email in my Hotmail inbox, but it was sent to "[email protected]" - which isn't my email address at all! It's quite puzzling how it ended up with me, to be honest. The content was identical to messages others seem to have received as well. Just to clarify, I've never set up a Facebook account in my life!
