I received a phone call from someone who claimed to be with the IRS, stating there was an issue with my tax returns. They threatened that the local constabulary would arrive imminently to arrest me and confiscate my belongings, insisting I shouldn’t leave my residence. The individual was quite rude, and when I requested to speak to another representative, he altered his voice abruptly. My mother is employed by the IRS, and she confirmed they never ring taxpayers directly for such matters. They communicate through official letters and instruct individuals to contact them if necessary. This is undoubtedly a scam, so please beware and do not share any credit or debit card details.

I received a rather alarming call from someone purporting to be Marcus Brown, allegedly representing the tax office. He went on about some supposed inconsistencies in my tax returns, insisting that the local constabulary would soon be arriving to arrest me and confiscate my belongings. He ominously warned me against leaving the house.
