12 yearsFor the past couple of weeks, I’ve been getting calls from the number (909)440-9693, sometimes two or three times a day. It’s the same bloke with a thick Indian accent who keeps changing his name - one day it’s Tom, the next Jerry or Trey. He claims to be from the US Treasury’s Dept of Legal Affairs and insists it’s some kind of legal matter for a specific person. I’ve told him loads of times he’s a scammer and to stop ringing me. Today, after his second call, I rang him back. You could hear loads of noise in the background, like a call centre. He got annoyed I kept calling him back, complaining it was stopping him from working. I told him his work is basically conning folks. He hung up on me a few times, so I called again and asked if he realised this was just phone harassment. That’s when he started shouting loads of swear words before slamming the phone down.
