A mere 15 seconds later, my phone buzzed again at the same time-8:14 PM-to be exact. I repeated my “hello” four more times, yet again to be met with utter silence. It was as if the line had gone dead. Curiously, the area code corresponds with Tennessee, a place where I’m not acquainted with anyone. Receiving a call at such a late hour, I can only presume it might be an urgent matter involving a family member. I genuinely wish for these calls to cease... it's rather distressing.
