Apparently, I supposedly owe them £1,719.17, and they insisted that if I didn’t settle the matter by the end of the day, a bailiff would be knocking on my door to apprehend me. In a panic, I ended up making a payment arrangement and transferred £500 that very day. They then organised a repayment scheme using my debit card. I eventually asked for proof of the debt, which they promised to send to my email. However, not a single note has been received since then, so I’ve decided to halt any further payments. A bank representative informed me that the worst they can do is garnish my wages and pursue a judgement, and they also mentioned that their actions appear to be unlawful.11 yearsI've received a rather unpleasant phone call threatening repercussions if I don't return their call concerning a bill.
