If you can guess roughly when they ring, try forwarding the calls to your local cops by dialling *72 then the police station’s number. When they pick up, just say it’s a mix-up. After that, any calls from that number will go straight to the police, and I promise you won’t hear from them again. Don’t forget to dial *73 afterwards to cancel the call forwarding. Funny enough, when you try calling that dodgy number back, it comes up as invalid since it’s been redirected to a dead line for good.

I had a chat with one of their reps and followed up with an email telling them straight up that I’m not interested and to please stop ringing me. I also warned them I’ll be charging £100 for each call going forward. As they’re still bothering me, I’m taking that as them agreeing to pay. Honestly, everyone should try this - start invoicing firms that keep hassling you with calls. Maybe then they’ll finally get the hint and leave you alone.

They keep ringing my work phone constantly, always asking for someone about merchant sales. I told them we don’t do any selling of merchandise, then they just cut the call straight away. It gets really annoying since it interrupts actual important calls. Such a rude and frustrating experience!

I got a call from this number earlier. The bloke was really cheeky and just slammed the phone down after I said the person he wanted retired ages ago, like 8 years back. He wouldn’t say where he was calling from either. Sounds like one of those dodgy telemarketer scams to me.
