I received a rather peculiar call from 872-813-9187, and it was an automated message mentioning something about a person of interest. They threw out a name I recognised, but instead of reacting, I found myself quite taken aback, especially since they mentioned someone who has gone missing. They were kind enough to provide a callback number, but silly me didn’t jot it down. When I tried to ring that number back, I was met with silence - it was all just rather odd, to say the least.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone inquiring about a chap named James. I informed them that there was no one by that name here, to which the caller apologised and realised they’d dialled incorrectly. I mentioned that I have no connections to anyone in Chicago. It was glaringly obvious to me that it was yet another scam. This wasn’t my first rodeo; I've had to fend off at least 30 similar nuisance calls from various parts of the globe! After the latest round, I contacted my phone provider and they kindly placed a block on such bothersome calls. At least that should curb the interruptions... for now. Should this harassment persist, I’m seriously considering bringing it to the attention of the local authorities. It’s infuriating how these dishonest people operate!

I made it abundantly clear to them that I consider their operation to be a con and have no intention of engaging with their shady practices. I’ve firmly requested they refrain from calling me again.
