A robot lady called me from the number 713-589-6526 and left a message with a call back number as 866-589-9112. She claimed that my identity could be at risk and asked me to call this number to resolve the issue. I suspected it was a scam, so I decided to do some research before making the call. On February 19th, I received a call on my mobile phone. A recorded voice of a woman claimed that my computer had been hacked or compromised. Curious, I called the number (866-925-9112) that was left in the voicemail. A man with poor communication skills and an accent that sounded like it was from the Middle East answered the call. He refused to disclose his identity, but persisted that I should immediately access my PC so he could address the alleged damage. I informed him that I was not at home, to which he insisted that I call back as soon as possible. It was clear to me that his intentions were deceitful and not trustworthy.

We're fed up with the same pre-recorded nonsense that everyone else has received. The computer will be locked and all that. How long have we been subjected to these fools? Hey there, FCC, demonstrate that you're capable and take proactive measures!

Beware, this is clearly a scam. You might receive a call from the number 470-333-0096 where a prerecorded message is played by a lady with a foreign accent. She claims to be from Microsoft and informs you about certain irregular activities observed on your computer. She instructs you to contact the provided number (866...) immediately to rectify the issue, emphasizing that failure to do so may result in the termination of your account and inability to use your computer. Do not fall into this trap - it's a scam!

I received a call with a strong accent from someone purporting to be from Microsoft. They claimed that my account would be locked if I didn't take immediate action. However, they refused to provide any specific details regarding the account in question or explain what was wrong. This situation raises concerns about the effectiveness of the FCC in combating such fraudulent activity. After all, if they can't prevent these misleading calls, then what is their purpose?
