3 yearsI’m fully aware of what I’m doing and when I’m doing it. Don’t try to pull that scam nonsense on me, I know my rights inside out.3 yearsI had a super similar experience! The guy on the phone said some court papers were sent back to them and he needed to get them to me. He even recited my entire national insurance number plus other personal details. According to him, it was about a £5,000 debt from 2014, which I have absolutely no idea about! Out of curiosity, I phoned the number again to check if they actually had those court documents. Now I’m pretty sure they don’t, cause the bloke who answered sounded really unpleasant and just hung up when I asked for his name. Since then I've been trying to ring back but all I get is a busy tone. Did anything happen on your end with those people? I’m just worried they’ll keep bothering me and my family.3 yearsReceived an identical voicemail mentioning a lawyer called Micheal Harris. When I tried to get more details, the caller got rude and started mocking me. They already had my details, which I know are just from public records. The tricky part? The account they talked about was closed back in 2008. They even tried to intimidate me with supposed legal threats. Definitely not a professional approach; that’s what made me suspicious right away. Total con. Best to look up the number online before answering.Michael Harris3 yearsGot a phone call from 8663210397, claiming to be from some DC Processors office. They said they were trying to deliver legal papers regarding a court case. They didn’t just call me, they also rang up my mum and left the very same voicemail. Honestly, these sorts of calls should be banned.Office of DC Processors3 yearsThey keep saying they’ve hired a solicitor and if I don’t reply, there’ll be court stuff. Total rip-off.3 yearsThis number just rang me too, talking about some case with Attorney Michael Harris and a reference number. Honestly, it freaked me out at first, but then I figured out it’s just a scam. I’m in Fallon, NV.Michael HarrisFallonNV3 yearsBoth my husband and dad got voicemail messages from them too, saying they were attempting to serve me. They told us to ring Mr Harris on 866-321-0397 and gave a case number. This has gotta be a load of rubbish!Harris3 yearsThis is so dodgy! I just received a voicemail telling me I have to show up in court and to ring up Atty Michael Harris to find out the details of my case. The number was the same as others I’ve seen: 866-321-0397!!!Michael Harris3 yearsCheers to everyone for posting their stories. I got the exact voicemail not long ago here in San Diego, CA. They rang my phone asking for my dad, which made me think about calling back at first. But I thought I'd better check the number online beforehand. Lucky me, I stumbled upon this site and reading all your comments made me realise it’s a scam. Really grateful to you all for saving me from falling for this!San DiegoCalifornia3 yearsOi, something similar just went down with me too. The person on the phone claimed I owed a credit card debt from 2014, said it was collecting dust at $8,000, supposedly from a Citibank-AGN card - which I've never even heard of. Then they tried saying the signatures matched my Texas driver’s licence or somethin’. What freaked me out was when they started rattling off other accounts supposedly in my name. Proper unsettling, honestly!Texas3 yearsI just got a call from a number that was blocked. The person on the phone said the papers from the San Bernardino process service office were returned because they had the wrong address. They asked me to ring the lawyer handling it, Michael Harris, on 1-866-321-0397 and mentioned a case number xxxxxxx-xx.San BernardinoMichael Harris3 yearsBeware of scams, got a call pretending to be from a lawyer!3 yearsI'm in Chicago and just had the exact same experience. I work as a process server, and honestly, there’s no such office called the county process server office.Chicago3 yearsThis happened to me earlier today here in Chicago too, definitely a scam. I work as a process server myself, and there’s no such thing as a “process server office” for a whole county. If someone needs to be served, they’ll get found no matter what.Chicago3 yearsI’m pretty convinced this is a scam. I got a call from someone claiming to be Michael Harris, saying they were trying to serve me a summons and to call back with a summons number. I couldn’t find any Michael Harris linked to that number. The caller ID was blocked, and when I tried calling back, it either just rang once then went busy, or sometimes it didn’t ring at all and just gave a tone or a busy signal. Seems very fishy to me. I’m based in Louisiana and would be interested to hear if anyone else has had this call elsewhere. If you have, please share your location so we can figure out where these calls are coming from. Cheers!Micheal Harris3 yearsLeft a message from someone called Michael Harris, said he was a solicitor.Michael Harris3 yearsI got three calls from a number I didn’t recognise, each time they left a voicemail saying something about a legal summons and to ring Michael Harris regarding ‘my case’. They even rang my wife and left the exact same message. These scams are really getting worse and it's just ridiculous now.Michael Harris3 yearsGot a call supposedly from a process server saying they couldn't serve me and told me to ring a court in Minnesota with a case number they gave. Thing is, when I tried to contact the court, there wasn't any 866 number listed anywhere. Feels fishy to me, probably a scam.Minnesota3 yearsMy phone and my brother’s got a call from a private number saying that some legal papers have been returned for me and I should ring up this lawyer, Michael Harris, on 1-866-321-0397, quoting some case ID. Total scam, they must be hunting for folks by digging through people finder sites and then ringin’ up anyone connected with that person who has a number listed. Such a dodgy trick.Michael HarrisSubmit Your Own Report (0866 321 0397)
