Now, I plan on calling the number again pretending to be someone different, just to see what nonsense they come up with this time.

I would like to add a few more remarks regarding my experience. It is not clearly stated if the scammers are trying to impersonate Affinity Global, a company based in Markham, ON or if there is any connection at all. The official number listed for Affinity Global on the internet is different from the one used by the scammers. When you call the legitimate number, you are greeted in a normal manner and the company name is mentioned. On the other hand, the scam number uses an abbreviation like "AFFGLO" or something similar.
