Lately, I've been receiving daily calls that always leave me scrambling to answer the phone, only to find no one on the other end of the line. It's frustrating because they never bother to leave a message. Today, I decided to call back the number and got an automated message from a company called "24/7 Customer." They claimed to be calling regarding an MBNA promotional offer. If I wanted to stop their calls, they asked me to leave my name and number for them to remove from their calling list. Appallingly, they mentioned that it might take up to 14 days for this request to be processed, and they would even call again to verify it. How ludicrous!

It is quite apparent that this is yet another scammer, like the many others we have received messages from, all originating from unidentified numbers.

This seems to be from MBNA, a credit card company. I have a card with them and they have offered to increase my credit limit. I cannot confirm this with complete certainty, but they possess information such as my name, the last four digits of my credit card, and my current credit limit. I don't think this is a fraudulent activity, as some others in this forum have mistakenly claimed.
