I received a call where the person on the other end was looking for someone I didn’t recognise. When I inquired about her identity, she introduced herself as Tracy and mentioned that she was representing an energy efficiency firm. I informed her that she had dialled a wrong number and requested her not to reach out to this number any further. Consequently, I’ve now added this number to my call-block list on my mobile.

I'm absolutely inundated with calls from this number-it's at least four times daily! Each time I pick up, the line is silent for a spell, and then, after about 15 seconds, I hear a woman’s voice chirp "goodbye." Following that, the line cuts off completely. It's becoming incredibly frustrating!

Just had a call from an Indian helpline purporting to be Microsoft. They went on about having detected over a thousand errors on my computer. Then, they attempted to walk me through some dodgy steps to grant them remote access. I reckon next they'll be installing malware and pilfering all sorts of personal data, including my bank details. Best to steer clear of these blokes!
