They’ve also called me from these numbers: 08459281836 on 5th August 2015 around 10:24, then 05593869702 on 4th March 2015 in the late afternoon, about 17:37. Another was 063092449152 on the same day at 16:55. Plus 05308889043 earlier that afternoon, 15:16. I got a ring from 06075944642 just before noon that day, 12:03. There was also 0501 on 3rd March 2015 at 17:12, and oddly 00000000 earlier at 16:22. Plus calls from 08176499067 back to back that day at 16:21, then 07078229850 in the morning about 09:53. Before that, 07607339829 called on 27th Feb 2015 around 13:58. Few days before, 0309 around 15:38 on 24th Feb. Also, 02012345678 on 21st Feb at 11:47, 02108240171 on 14th Feb at 14:09, and 07953966066 on 11th Feb near 11:24. Finally, 08006783393 on 9th Feb, around 09:52. Quite a list!

Does anyone have a clue as to who this could be?

Got a call around 7pm on Saturday from a man who sounded Indian, obviously sitting in some call centre. He claimed to be from Mazda car insurance and said he wanted to assist after a car accident we apparently had - which never happened. When we questioned how they got our contact, he said it was from a "national accident list". We asked him to confirm our name, but he said he only had our number and kept pressing for our name, which we refused to give. When we told him to remove our number from their records, he just ignored us. He said his name was John Milton (yeah, right) and when we asked for his phone number - which caller ID already showed him - he kept asking why we wanted it before we ended the call. Totally a scam.

Got a call from them earlier today, definitely one of those computer scam gangs. I've come across a gang called Lakshimi Group before, not sure if it's connected but they use the same tricks. They always start by asking if they can access your computer remotely. The whole aim is to rip you off. Since I was already aware of these scams, I played along and made the bloke on the line look silly. He soon got a bit nasty and awkward. If anyone knows more about these lot, please share here.

I saw the number pop up on my phone saying it was from New York, but as soon as I picked up they hung up. Then it called me again right after, this time just showing 08459281836, no +1 at the start. I've gone ahead and blocked it now.

Dont pick up if this number rings, its a total scam. They say they're from some company and try to get you to let them onto your computer to see your files. Got caught once a few months ago and ended up paying quite a bit, but theres no way Im falling for that again.
