10 yearsHey, it’s Evan here. Got a call from this number, they were going on about car insurance from 2016 or something. Thing is, I don’t even own a car or have any insurance at all. They kept telling me I could save a lot more cash and mentioned some new offer on car insurance. Seemed proper dodgy to me, probably just an automated voice, not a real person. The number 845-249-2462 has called me multiple times - on 6th June around 3:50, 27th May about 1:53, 18th May near 3:32, plus a few others that aren’t even showing up in my call history anymore. I’ve also had calls from 515-779-1914, 845-406-4014, and sometimes just "Restricted". None of the calls ever leave a voicemail, and I never pick up if I don’t recognise the number. What’s the best way to block these? I don’t have a smartphone, so not sure how to do it. I’ve been wondering if it’s all linked somehow online. Plus, I’m even a bit worried that sites like this could be dodgy too - I got a bunch of malware alerts after looking it up.
