I got a call around 7pm from a woman asking for my husband. She claimed to be from RBC but when I asked for my details, she said she didn’t have my name linked to the account so couldn’t talk to me. I told her there are other people on the account too. Eventually, she admitted she was calling from some call centre called Jexell?? Said RBC gave them our info and it was about insurance. I told her I’d ring RBC myself to check if Jexell is real, and if they are, I’d let my husband speak to her next time. But for now, no way am I sharing any personal info. Feels dodgy, like one of those scams to me.
