Received a call at 7 in the evening. A woman was on the line requesting to chat with my husband. She claimed to represent RBC but, when pressed, admitted she didn’t have my details or the name on our account so she couldn’t converse with me. I pointed out that there are other names linked to the account, and only then did she reveal she was from a call centre named Jexell. She insisted that RBC supplies them with client information and that they were reaching out regarding insurance matters. I informed her that I would contact RBC directly to check if Jexell is a credible entity, and that should she ring again, I might allow her to speak with my husband if it turns out they're genuine.
